Personality Database marks my transition from architecture to product design, in which I had the opportunity to lead a large-scale project from the ground up, with full creative freedom to shape its structure, experience, and identity.

Process Breakdown
The Double Diamond Model serves as our guiding framework throughout the design process. Our approach follows these key steps: first, we analyze the market and users, then narrow down the problem, and finally, apply creative solutions to address specific challenges effectively.
Competitives
80% of PDB users are Gen Z. To define PDB’s market position, we conducted research on their favorite social media platforms and psychology-focused websites, identifying key engagement trends and user behaviors.
Users Interview
We initiated quality research by interview users from PDB community, discord, and Instagram. They are 2 MBTI novices, 1 psychology apprentice, and 2 typology masters.
Personas
Three personas were designed by cross-referencing quantitive and qualitative data from my user surveys and interviews and will serve as important reference points for design decisions moving forward.
The three personas are psychology novice, psychology explorer, and typology master.
